Science - Applied A-Level at George Salter Academy

Course description

Applied Science is ideal for any student who is really keen on the practical side of their Science lessons. It provides a broad background of all science subjects presented through a range of coursework and examination units. This course provides links with local industries and organisations that use science, and students will get a taste for how Science is used in the real world.

Progression routes from this course

An A-level in Applied Science can lead to a career as a lab technician, forensic scientist, radiographer or radiotherapist and jobs in the sports science and environmental science areas.
