Course description

The BTEC National Diploma in ICT offers students a more indepth look at ICT in the modern workplace, and gives an insight into its role in specialist careers. This is equivalent to 2 A levels and can be studied alongside other qualifucations.

You can use this course as a stepping syone to an ICT related course at university. ICT is such a diverse subject that there are almost a limitless number of jobs you can go in to. You will also learn skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, organisation, report writing, retrieval of information and numeracy.

This course can be used as a stepping stone to ICT related courses at University. ICT is such a diverse subject that tehre are a limitless number of jobs you can get in to. Some of the common ones includ programmer games designer, hardware designer, technician and network manager.

You will also learn skills such as teamwork and leadership, communication, organisation, report writing, retrieval of information and numeracy. This could help you get in to career areas such as management, sales, human resources and education.
