Connect to Employment and Further Learning (Health Studies) Level 2 at Northampton College

Course description

This course is designed to equip you with the necessary skills to progress on to a Level 3 course. It will enable you to develop skills and gain a range of qualification essential to further study or employment.The subjects you will study include: - GCSE English - GCSE Mathematics - GCSE Science - Level 1 or Level 2 ITQ - Additional English - Additional MathematicsYou will need to attend College for 3 days each week.

Course content

This course is for you if you have been out of education and would like to develop the skills necessary to motivate and enable you to progress onto a Level 3 programme of study.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. However, you must complete an initial assessment prior to course interview and be able to commit to 12 hours per week in college and a further 6 hours per week in your own time.


The course is assessed through written formal examinations.
