Maintenance Operations - Level 2 at Harrow College

Course description

The course is for anyone who would like to develop a career in the construction maintenance industry. This includes general building maintenance and refurbishments.

Course content

The course covers small scale repairs in various trades in the construction sector for the following trades: Building repair (Brickwork) Painting and Decorating Repairs Plastering Repairs Plumbing Repairs Carpentry Repairs.

The course will be delivered through a range of practical and theoretical sessions.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have studied a level 1 construction related programme to be considered for entry.


Assessment will be through practical tasks and a unifying on line examination (multiple choice).

Future opportunities

The course could lead to further study in the construction industry, an apprenticeship in Building Maintenance or employment.
