Course description

Year 1 AS Sequencing, Recording and Arranging (coursework) Listening and Analysis (examination)

Entry requirements

Practical ability of ABRMS Grade 5 Standard or equivalent. Knowledge of music theory to Grade 5 Standard. GCSE music strongly recommended. Applicants without a Grade 5 Theory certificate of GCSE in Music may be asked to attend for audition/interview. An elementary level of keyboard proficiency is of help with the compulsory composition work.

Future opportunities

The Advanced GCE in Music Technology can lead for further study of music technology or performing arts at higher national or degree level. The Advanced GCE can also help you on your way to a career in the musi industry or to a Technology/Computer orientated career.
