part of the unit work will be focussed on work experience This short course offers you a specialist qualification for working in areas of health and social care. It could lead onto other vocational qualifications such as a BTEC National Certificate or Diploma in Health and Social Care. You could also do an NVQ or Apprenticeship programme in Health and Social Care, Health or Playwork. With further training and the relevant qualifications, you could go into a job related to health and social care such as a Health Visitor, Nurse or Social Worker. The course also provides you with the basic knowledge, understanding and skills that many employers are looking for, especially in the care sectors.
