Graphic Communication A Level at London Academy

Course description

The world today is full of visual messages, whether they be adverts, logos, signs, packages.....the list is endless.

In this course you will focus on the specialist area of Graphic Communication. You will study illustration, advertising, package design, typography and digital media including Photoshop and photography. You will be encouraged to study examples of graphic design in the world around us, and how to design for different clients and target markets. You will also learn how to respond to a variety of exciting design briefs and how to adapt and develop your ideas in appropriate media and techniques.

This course is ideal for those wishing to pursue a specialist path in Graphic Design and is best taken in conjunction with another Art and Design A Level. It is also aimed at those who simply enjoy the process of producing graphic design work.
