Geography at Meden School

Course description

Geography is often referred to as the subject of the future. It is the study of the natural and human environment and how the two interrelate. Students will study topics such as forecasting the weather, dealing with the impacts of globalisation, energy & food security, changes and challenges within ecosystems, processes and issues facing the coast and combating natural hazards. On the course there will be fieldwork opportunities abroad and the chance for enrichment activities related to conservation projects locally and internationally.

Entry requirements

A GCSE grade B or above is preferred.
