Art and Design (3D design) BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma (QCF) at Kantor King Solomon High School
The 60-credit BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma:
- extends the specialist work-related focus of the BTEC Level 3 Certificate and covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the appropriate vocational sector.
- offers greater exibility and a choice of emphasis through the optional units. It is broadly equivalent to one GCE A Level.
- offers an engaging programme for those who are clear about the area of employment that they wish to enter.
BTEC National qualifications provide specialist, work-related learning across a range of vocational sectors. They give you the knowledge, understanding and skills you need to prepare for employment, develop in your chosen career, or progress to further or higher education.
The Pearson BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Art and Design (3D Design) has 60 credits and has 360 guided learning hours. It consists of four mandatory units plus optional units that provide for a combined total of 60 credits (where at least 45 credits must be at level 3 or above).
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above.
BTEC National units are assessed internally.
