Biology A Level at Swindon Academy
The modules studied in the Biology full A Level are as follows: development of practical skills, foundations in biology, structure and function of gas exchange and transport systems, biodiversity of organisms, photosynthesis and respiration and the role of genes in regulating and controlling cell function and development.
Students who have successfully taken other Level 2 qualifications in science or applied science, with appropriate biology content may have acquired sufficient knowledge to begin the AS Biology course.
