IB Biology at Torquay Girls' Grammar

Course description

Studying Biology at IB will involve a symbiotic relationship between theory and experiment. The course aims to provide students with a skills to understand and evaluate the major Biological concepts through the study of e.g. the various levels of organisation within organisms, in relations to the functions they form; the history of life on earth; Genetics at both Mendelian and molecular level; Organisms in relation to each other and their environment.

Entry requirements

For HL and SL, students should achieve an A grade in GCSE Biology or additional science.
