Course description

Apprenticeships are an ideal way to recruit and develop new staff who are keen to make a difference in the lives of young children.

Course content

You will attend college for between half a day and one day per week.

Topics studied include:

  • Employment responsibilities and rights
  • Effective communication
  • Equality and inclusion
  • Child development
  • Safeguarding
  • Working in partnership

Entry requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs with the following grades: English 4 and maths at 3 or above, and 3 other GCSEs grade 4 or above. You will require a DBS check for this course.
