Legal Secretaries Level 2 Diploma at Havering College of Further and Higher Education
You will study the various elements that are essential for successful career as a legal secretary, including the following:
- Legal Text Processing
- Legal Audio Processing
- Business Skills in the Legal Environment
- Proofreading in the Legal Environment.
There are also additional units that will be hand selected by the lecturers in order to give you a broader understanding of the legal sector.
If you have not yet achieved a grade C (or above) in GCSE English and maths, you will be required to attend GCSE resit sessions (if you achieved grade D) or functional skills sessions (if you achieved grade E or below).
At least 4 GCSEs at grade D or above (including English & maths)
You will be assessed via written assignments and examinations.
You could progress onto one of our Level 3 certificate or diploma courses to further develop your skills and knowledge.
Employment opportunities could include work as an administrative assistant/administrator or a junior role as a legal secretary.
