Course description

This course lends itself to detailed discussion and the sharing of ideas and interpretations. It will build key skills of logic and reasoning as well as studying the views of different historians. 

Course content

Unit 1: The Early Stuarts and the Origins of the Civil War 1603-1660.
The Cold War in Asia 1944-1993.
Russia and its Rulers 1855-1964


Written exams and a topic based essay.
