Course description

Period Study — Europe 1878-1989—A study which considers the process of historical change, its causes and consequences, and the ways such change over time has been interpreted. We will consider the changing nature of society, the origins, nature and impact of political, social, economic and religious change and the contributions made by selected individuals.
In-Depth Study — Britain 1929-39 — A study of a range of perspectives primarily through the study of a wide range of historical sources including contemporary and historical interpretations.
