Hospitality Leadership & Supervision - Level 3 NVQ Diploma at Yorkshire Coast College
The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality & Leadership Supervision will all you to develop the practical hospitality skills learnt at level 2 with the introduction of supervisory, leadership and motivational skills.
This programme is therefore ideal for those who have an interest in training in supervisory skills to lead a restaurant team. You will also develop a range of management techniques to enable you to follow a career as a supervisor within the hospitality industry.
The course will include the following units:
- Provide leadership for your team
- Develop good working relationships
- Establish and develop positive working relationships in hospitality
- Contribute to the control of resources
- Maintain the health, hygiene, safety and security of the working environment
Level 2 Hospitality qualification or relevant industrial experience and equivalent and a real passion for food service.
After successful completion of the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hospitality Leadership & Supervision you would be well placed to enter into the world of work as a Front of House Supervisor or Junior Manager.
However if you would like to continue your studies further you could choose to progress onto a Foundation Degree in Events Management here at Yorkshire Coast College or choose from a wide selection of degrees at universities nation wide.
Recognised as one of the East Coast’s busiest tourist resorts, there are also lots of hotels, restaurants, public houses and catering companies all looking for people to work in both the kitchen and front of house positions.
You too could soon be following in the footsteps of Michelin Starred Chefs, James Mackenzie and Steve Carter, who both trained at Yorkshire Coast College.
The local average wage on entry in to a career in Hospitality and Catering - depend on qualification – is £10,000 - £13,000.
