Course description

This world history syllabus considers the main events that have affected the world since the Versailles Peace Settlement

  • fascist Italy,
  • Weimar and Nazi Germany
  • the New Deal in America
  • the origins of the Second World War
  • the Cold War, the role of the United Nations
  • a British depth study 1906-1918
  • Russian and Soviet history 1856-1941
  • European integration

Students will analyse both primary and secondary source materials.European integration.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs - 3 D grades and 1 C grade.
