PA & Business Professional Studies Level 1/Level 2 at Westminster Kingsway College
What will I study?
This course will provide you with the skills and training for employment in an office environment in an administrative, PA or secretarial role.
You will study some or all of the following units:
• File Management and e-Document Production
• Creating Spreadsheets & Graphs
• Database Manipulation
• Online Communication
• Word Processing
• Touch Typing
• Office Procedures
• Mail Merge
• Text Production
The Level 2 course will develop further skills and techniques for more senior roles.
The Level 1 course starts in September. Successful completion will enable you to progress to the Level 2 course starting in either January or April.
You will need to have English and Maths skills at Entry 3 or above for entry to the Level 1 course. Successful completion of our Secretarial Studies Level 1 course or an equivalent Level 1 qualification is required for entry to the Level 2 course. You may also be required to complete a short test and provide a good reference.
