Plumbing & Heating Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 at New College Stamford

Course description

Gain the training and qualifications to demonstrate your technical knowledge of the plumbing industry. You will study units including: installing and testing the components of a system; commissioning and de-commissioning systems; and maintaining the effective operation of systems.You may also need to study Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2, Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) and Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) units to successfully complete your training. Some attendance at college may be required and an Assessor will also visit you in the workplace to carry out practical assessments and monitor your progress.

There are no formal entry requirements but your previous skills and experience will be considered upon application.

16 – 18 years – Course 100% funded19 – 23 years – No contribution is required at this moment in time.(employers may wish to help towards the costs)24+ years – Not funded. Course costs payable by employer/individual but loans may be available through the 24+ Advanced Learning Loan scheme.
