Psychology AS & A Level at Churchill Community College

Course description

Psychology isthe study of people, the mind and behaviour. It is a popularsubject with students because it has a big impact on all areas of life, particularly in areassuch as education, health, the economy, industry and crime. If you are interested in finding out why people behave the way they do or how the brain worksthen psychology could be for you.

Entry requirements

You must have a minimum of at least a grade C in English Language, Mathematics and a Science in order to take the AS qualification. This will mean that you are likely to passthe AS course. However,students who want to achieve grades A and B should have a grade B or better in each of these three subjects.

Students that intend going on to the A2 part in year 13 must pass the AS course with at least a grade D.
