Through a series of mini-lectures and practical exercises using a range of media.
Successful completion of AS Media Studies.
Through a series of essays, tests,blogs and coursework portfolio. (50% Exam and 50% Coursework).

Study at university in theoretical or practical media or related subjects, as well as careers in film and TV/video production, advertising, radio, publishing and the new media industries.
Equipment or materials:
At home, it will help if you have access to a TV, blogging, DVD recorder and the internet.
OCR text book (£15-£20) is optional (available for loan from College Learning Centre).
