Media Studies A Level at Harrow College

Course description

Students interested in developing their production skills and learning more about how the media industry operates.

Course content

Advanced video production techniques, plus supporting print products for the coursework unit. The evaluation of your production in terms of media theory and contemporary media issues in the exam unit.

Through a series of mini-lectures and practical exercises using a range of media.

Entry requirements

Successful completion of AS Media Studies.


Through a series of essays, tests,blogs and coursework portfolio. (50% Exam and 50% Coursework).

OCR text book (£15-£20) is optional (available for loan from College Learning Centre).
