Product Design: 3D Design at Thomas Adams School

Course description

The course is designed to encourage students to take a broad view of design and technology, to develop their capacity to design and make products and to appreciate the complex relations between design, materials, manufacture and marketing. The coursework element provides students with the opportunity to design and make a product in both years. Theory will be covered with the aid of a dedicated textbook in preparation for the final examination.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at C grade or above, including Product Design or Resistant Materials.
