Government and Politics at Thomas Adams School
Government and Politics explores the mechanisms, institutions and procedures needed to make decisions about society and the people in it. It is the study of power, the state and social life. You must be prepared to keep up-to-date with current social and political debates, read around the subject, write formal essays, and demonstrate critical awareness of theoretical approaches using appropriate political vocabulary.
5 GCSEs at C grade or above including English.
A keen interest in following current affairs especially of a political nature.
