Network Administration Apprenticeship Level 2 at Escalla
As a network administrators you’ll be the glue that keeps an organisation communicating. Typically these jobs are in larger companies that have multiple offices and probably working across multiple countries.
You would be installing and managing networking equipment such as cabling, switches and routers.
As a network administrator’s it’ll be your responsibility to ensure network security and troubleshoot any hardware or software problems.
Daily tasks could include:
- Configuring a network firewall and updating anti-virus software
- Running tests to optimise the network performance and speed
- Planning how a new office will connect to the main office
Depending on the size of your organisation, you might also be responsible for first-line customer support.
