Mathematics at Sexey's School

Course description

Why take Mathematics beyond GCSE? Any student wishing to read for a degree in any maths related subject at university should take Mathematics in the Sixth Form. Mathematicians, scientists, engineers, computer programmers & analysts, accountants etc. all use mathematics routinely in their working lives.Maths should not however be seen as purely a tool for other subjects, many students enjoy studying it for its own sake and it can complement arts and humanities as well as being taken alongside the sciences. Recent studies have also shown that graduate employees with A Level Mathematics earn more on average than those without it.
