Introduction to Electrical Installation - Level 1 Diploma at Harrow College
Learners who wish to embark on a career within the electrical sector.
The qualification covers the basic fundamental practical skills and knowledge required by someone aspiring to be an electrician. It covers a range of subjects including: safe working practices, Understanding environmental protection systems, installation methods, practical craft skills and electrical science.
GCSE Maths and English at D-F or above.
The course is assessed by practical assignments and on-line examinations.

This qualification focuses on fundamental practical electrical skills and knowledge and successful completion will ensure the learner will have gained the core skills and knowledge required by an electrician working in the sector, the course can also lead to apprenticeships or further study in electrical skills.
