Facilities Services – Intermediate Apprenticeship Level 2 at The Skills Partnership Ltd
Facilities management companies often undertake a diverse range of responsibilities, which are dependent on the structure and size of the organisation. They can be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises. They are responsible for the smooth running of the environments we encounter in our working and personal lives. They work behind the scenes to support all operations.
This course is for those operating both front of house and behind the scenes to support operational service delivery, this programme provides training in working with customers and as part of a team but also enables candidates to choose a specialist pathway from front of house, reception, cleaning, maintenance, security and back office or mailroom.
You should be aged 16 or over and be working or applying to work with a company that has agreed to offer this
recognised Apprenticeship programme.
There are no minimum academic or vocational qualifications required but a good general standard of education is beneficial.
You will be assigned a personal tutor who will plan an individual learning programme with you. This will be based around regular monthly tutorials in the workplace, workshops and if appropriate some online learning.
Depending on your circumstances you may wish to progress on to an Advanced Facilities Management or consider an advanced Leadership and Management course.
