It also explores similar themes to social science subjects such as Psychology and Sociology, but with a more vocational focus. Many students successfully mix A level and BTEC courses.
It is a good choice for anyone interested in working in health, caring or social careers in the future, and is a well regarded qualification for applicants to study nursing, social work, paramedic sciences, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy radiography or podiatry.
