Future opportunities

We live in a global economy and so it is increasingly important to be able to communicate in other languages and to have an appreciation and understanding of other cultures. The range of University courses which combine a Modern Foreign Language with another discipline is almost limitless and the ability to speak one or more foreign languages is highly regarded by employers in a wide range of fields. We would therefore encourage students of all disciplines to consider a Modern Foreign Language at AS or A2 level in order to complement other studies and develop vital communication skills.
