Course description

Physics is a demanding subject that requires a range of skills ranging from logic/thinking, maths, verbal communication and practical. You will need to be able to learn independently and as part of a team. Qualifications in physics are sought after and highly valued by universities and employers as success at physics shows intelligence, commitment and a willingness to work hard.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE grades A* - C including English and/or maths.  Grade B in maths and B in science core/additional/separate chemistry or physics.

Assessment

This qualification is linear, meaning that students will sit all their AS exams at the end of the AS course and all of their A Level exams at the end of the A Level course.
 
It is expected that there will be three, two hour exams.
