Course description

Sociology is about us being able to understand the real world. It teaches us to think critically about the world around us and explore the social and political events that shapes our lives. Studying sociology will provide you with the skills needed to make a difference in the ever changing world of work, including analytical thinking, communication and enquiry.

Course content

Education, family and households, religion and crime and deviance.

To access this course the following grades will be required

English - 6

Maths - 5

Science - 5

Assessment

3 x exams at the end of the second year
