Accounting A Level at Chelsea Academy

Course description

A-level Accounting helps students to develop knowledge and understanding of the purposes of accounting and apply this to a variety of accounting problems.

This four-unit specification requires students to develop their ability to acquire a range of important and transferable skills such as data skills, presenting arguments and making judgements and justified recommendations, recognising the nature of problems, solving problems and making decisions and planning work, taking into account the demands of the task and the time available to complete it.

Future opportunities

This course is closely related to Business studies and would be complimented by AS Maths or Quantitative Methods. It is suitable for students that are interested in going into accounting or business management in the future.
