Business (Double) BTEC Level 3 Diploma at Amersham School

Course description

Business Studies is an enjoyable and fascinating subject - its place in the curriculum supports our status as a Business and Enterprise College. You will study external (macro) and internal (micro) factors, including political, economic, social, technological, legal, environmental and ethical factors which influence business decisions. You will have the opportunity to explore features of different businesses and analyse what makes them successful.

The additional topics studied on our Diploma develop your understanding of the principles of management, international business, pitching a new business and creative promotion. These subjects provide an excellent grounding in the commercial world linking to globalisation in our constantly changing world of employment. Enterprise skills are particularly valued by future employers and this will be fully explored in the unit 'Pitching a New Business'.
