Course description

Entry requirements

Students must also have a C grade or above in GCSE Maths and
English. 

Assessment

Paper 1: Listening, reading and writing. 2 ½ hours. 50% of A Level
Paper 2: Writing. 2 hours. 20% of A Level
Paper 3: Speaking. 21-23 minutes. 30% of A Level

Future opportunities

Many universities offer courses combined with a language, such as law, linguistics and business management. Jobs where a language is useful include: sales executive, tour manager, marketing executive, broadcast journalist to name but a few.
