Public Services Level 1 at Craven College

Course description

Begin to explore careers in the uniformed public services with this Level 1 qualification and start to develop the skills and fitness you need to succeed.

You will learn about the role of the police officer, paramedic, firefighter, prison officer as well as the many roles within the RAF, British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and spend time with personnel from the different services. You will be taught by highly qualified tutors who have many years’ experience working in and developing excellent links with the services. As the course is very practical you will take part in many fitness activities as well as classroom based learning.

  • 4 GCSEs 9-1 (A*-G) including English & maths
