From DNA and health to food production and ecosystems, biology is never far from the headlines – it is important in all aspects of life across the planet. Explore this challenging subject in our outstanding laboratory facilities.

Biology includes many interesting and exciting topics, all of which impact upon our lives and the world around us. It involves the study of life from the molecular level, through cells and organisms, to populations and ecosystems. You will study cells, physiology, variation in organisms and the influence of genetic and environmental factors. You will carry out experiments, gather data, analyse results and make conclusions.
