HNC Business & Management at South & City College Birmingham
The HNC in Business and Management will help you extend your business skills and knowledge, whilst fitting around your current lifestyle. It is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree.
You will need to be aged 18 years or over on or before 31 August of the academic year the course commences.You will need 120 UCAS points including a full level 3 qualification. You will also need to have GCSE maths and English at grade C or above.Examples of a level 3 programme are:Two -levels A BTEC National Diploma or Extended DiplomaA BTEC National CertificateA level 3 diploma or equivalent such as NVQ GNVQ International Baccalaureate Scottish Certificate of EducationA recognised (Kite marked) access courseIf you are already in employment you will already need to be working in a managerial role within a business. Ideally you will already have a level 3 qualification but this is not essential depending on your experience. You can top this course up to an HND through an extra one year of study through our HNC to HND Business and Management Top-Up programme. Alternatively, you could enter employment in an organisation within a business and management role. If you are already employed, this should help your chances of progression.
