Engineering First Extended Certificate Level 2 at South & City College Birmingham

Course description

Modern engineering requires an increasing level of interaction between engineering disciplines that have traditionally been considered to be largely independent. Employers are consequently seeking engineers and technicians with a wide knowledge of many fields rather than a specialised knowledge in one particular area.

Entry requirements

Students will need to have a grade 5 or higher in maths and a grade 4 or Level 2 in English Language as well as one of the following:BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Engineering or a related subject.Two GCSEs at grades 3 (D) or aboveRelated work experienceOther related Level 1 or 2 qualifications will be consideredAll students will also be required to attend and satisfactorily complete a formal induction period
