Course description

What will I learn about? 

The course will explore practitioners, performance styles, set texts, and live reviews of performance. The course is mixture of practical and theory, with a coursework element included. It is hands on, but academic. Students are expected to back up their ideas with evidence, and understand authors, and actors’ intentions when creating, analysing, and performing work.

Why would this course suit me?

This course would suit you if you intend to go into the Performing Arts industry, or onto university/ Drama school. The main focus of the course is understanding style and form, and how it can be applied to work. Ideal candidates will have a passion for dramaturgy, and be able performers.

Where would it take me?

Accepted by all universities, Drama Schools, and desirable for apprenticeships due to the group work, and problem solving aspects of the course. 
This course is popular among History, English, and Psychology A-level students.  

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements: Grade 4 in Drama, Grade 4 in English
