Creative Media Production & Technology UAL Diploma L2 at East Sussex College
This course is for students considering progression into the creative industries, who are interested in the media and like working practically. On this course you will learn and develop a range of media production skills such as video production and interactive design production (Gaming). You will also learn about how media industries work and how to analyse professional media products. The course content is 70% practical and 30% theoretical study.
You will need to meet our standard entry requirements.
You will need at least GCSE English Language grade D/3.
Assessment is based on coursework, which runs right through the year. Your work will be externally assessed at the end of the academic year by the UAL awarding body.
If you achieve a Merit or Distinction in this qualification you can go on to Advanced Level courses or BTEC Creative Media Productions courses.
This course also benefits from visiting lecturers including local, regional, and national media professionals. Please note it is expected that learners will undertake around six hours of home study per week and a minimum of 4 hours independent study at the college in addition to their timetabled sessions.
