Course description

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma is a specialist qualification for those who wish to pursue a career or higher education route in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. The course is designed to provide you with a good knowledge and understanding of Engineering whilst developing the skills required to prepare you for employment or progression into Higher Education within the engineering sector. On completion of the Level 3 Foundation Diploma there is the opportunity to study for the Level 3 Extended Diploma in year two which is equivalent to three A Levels.

Entry requirements

Five or more GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) including maths, core science and English 9-3 (A*-D)
