Course description

The aim of this vocational course is to provide learners with skills, knowledge and understanding to progress into Higher Education or employment. It gives learners an exciting opportunity to understand the wider external contexts in which business operate, as well as understanding the internal functions and their interdependencies.

Students choose two units from the following:

Business Decisions
Marketing and Market Research
Introduction to Human Resources
Accounting Principals
Principals of Project Management
Responsible Business Practices
International Business
Business Events
Being Entrepreneurial/Evaluating viable Opportunities

Entry requirements

Students need to have achieved 5 C grades at GCSE. Where students have taken GCSE Business they will be required to have achieved a C grade pass.
