Course description

Product design offers learners the opportunity to develop their understanding of historic and contemporary design periods and techniques whilst allowing learners to develop their practical digital and manufacturing skills. Product Design facilitates a career pathway into both technical and arts industries. The arts and design industries have been growing year on year since the turn of the millennium and are major contributors to the UK economy; European statistics reveal that the UK has the largest design sector in Europe and salaries range from £15,000 to £75,000 per year.
