Course description

This course in Food and Beverage Service is designed for those who are employed in hospitality roles such as bar staff/managers, conference and banqueting assistants/managers or waiters/waitresses, who want to develop or consolidate their skills.

This is a work-based qualification, which will allow you to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills, essential for working in a hospitality environment, such as a food and beverage service, working with others and improving your own performance.

Entry requirements

You must have at least Entry Level 3 in Maths and English.

Assessment

You will be assigned an assessor at the beginning of your course, who will assess you in the workplace and provide guidance and support throughout your training.

You will be using an electronic portfolio in order to keep in contact with assessors, be set targets and also gather your evidence/work.
