Course description

This course is designed for those that want to work within the animal care industries.Areas covered include: - Horse handling and care - Work related experience - Introduction to horse biology - Feeding and watering - Riding horses

Entry requirements

You will need 4 or more GCSEs at grade 3 or higher or a relevant level 1 qualification.You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.

Assessment

This programme is continually assessed by a combination of written tests, projects, assignment work and demonstration of competence in a range of practical tasks.

If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay a course fee; however, there may be additional resources fees and fees for materials, kits and trips. Please visit our website for full details.
