Brickwork - Level 2 (Diploma) at College of West Anglia

Course description

This course is designed for students who have successfully completed Brickwork - Level 1.Course content includes a range of training projects based on bricklaying skills, including- Safe working practices- Information, quantities and communication- Methods of construction- Setting out- Thin joint masonry and masonry cladding- Solid walling- Cavity walling

Entry requirements

You will need 4 or more GCSEs at grade 3 or higher or a relevant level 1 qualification, such as Brickwork - Level 1.If you are aged 19 or older, relevant industry experience may be accepted.You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you

Assessment

Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year through practical and theory assessments, portfolio and external tests.

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay a course fee; however, there may be additional resources fees and fees for materials, kits and trips. Please visit our website for full details.
