Course description

If you want to develop your skills and knowledge in creative hair work, advanced cutting, colouring, styling and promotional activities, this course is for you. Course content includes: - Health and safety - Advanced cutting - Advanced colouring techniques - Client care and consultation - Promotional activities - Promoting services and products - Creative dressing and styling - Dressing long hair - Colour correction

Entry requirements

You will need to have studied Hairdressing - Stage 2 - Level 2, with good attendance and progress reviews.If you are aged 19 or older, relevant industry experience may be accepted.You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.

Assessment

There is a process of continual assessment to include assignments, exams, practical and oral assessment with a summative assessment for theory and practical at the end of the year.

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay a course fee; however, there may be additional resources fees and fees for materials, kits and trips. Please visit our website for full details.
