Motorsport - Level 3 at College of West Anglia

Course description

If you are interested in working in motorsport, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to kickstart your career.The course offers a comprehensive grounding in theoretical and practical aspects of motorsport vehicle repair. This includes aspects of customer care and health and safety as well as the vocational aspects related to engines, electrical units, chassis units and transmission units. Bodywork options are also available. 50% of learning outcomes and assessments are workshop-based activities.

Entry requirements

You will need to have studied Motorsport - Level 2, with good attendance and progress reviews.You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.

Assessment

A portfolio of practical and theory based exercises will be produced. In addition, there are externally set on-line tests to complete.

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay a course fee; however, there may be additional resources fees and fees for materials, kits and trips. Please visit our website for full details.
