A-level Maths (Pure and Statistics) at College of West Anglia

Course description

A-level Maths will build upon your GCSE study, enhancing your skills in algebra and functions, equations and inequalities, curve sketching, coordinate geometry, series, calculus, exponential and logarithms, trigonometry and sine and cosine rules.

Entry requirements

You will need 6 or more GCSEs at grade 4 and above, including English language and maths, and grade 6 and above in your chosen subjects (where possible).

Assessment

Students will follow a programme of formal class teaching supported by appropriate texts and computer software. 6 x 1.5 hour examinations

Financial information

If you are under 19 on 31st August in the year you begin your programme, you will not have to pay a course fee; however, there may be additional resources fees and fees for materials, kits and trips. Please visit our website for full details.
