Business Administration - Apprenticeship (Intermediate) - Level 2 at College of West Anglia
This programme is aimed at people who have a keen interest in business and administration. You will broaden your understanding and knowledge of the company and its clients/suppliers. The Certificate in Business Administration consists of 6 Mandatory units optional units tailored to your job role:- Communication in a business environment - Principles of providing administrative services - Principles of business document production and information management - Understanding employer organisations - Manage personal performance and development - Develop working relationships with colleagues Includes Health and Safety, team working, organising a workload, communication via telephone and preparing and printing documents using a PC.
You will be interviewed and assessed for your potential, commitment and motivation to achieve the apprenticeship, based upon the range and level of activities you will be undertaking in the workplace. You may also need to undergo an initial assessment of your English and maths skills in which you are required to be working at/towards level 1 maths and level 1 English, or higher. At the start of your apprenticeship you will need to be employed by a suitable and appropriate employer for at least 30 hours a week. You will also need to have been a resident in the EU for at least 3 years, not have a level 4 or higher qualification and not be on any other government funded training programme.
The Business Administration Diploma is delivered in the workplace using a portfolio of evidence, observations, statements and questioning.
